Description
Sweet BInary was born on April 2 in Manehattan. She studied magic as a filly, but dropped out of magic school because she thought that magic was too demanding and bland. Throughout her fillyhood, she was seen as a quiet and apathetic pony who only seemed to care about what interested her most, which was marijuana. As a filly, she actively got in trouble because of her marijuana use, causing her to rebel against authority. She discovered her love of computers through a book about computers she found one day in a library. The book was about the basics of computation, computer programming, and different computer components. She fell in love with the book as soon as she read it.After discovering her now found love of computers, she started to save up bits to buy her own personal computer. She got a job at a computer repair store, allowing her to gain experience with different computer components and situations brought to her by the customers. She really loved troubleshooting and fixing the problem. The Equestrian government began to adapt to computers for storing information and processing statistics during the time that she began her interest in them. She started writing programs in her freetime to distribute to ponies in Manehattan under the name “compscitwilight”. Eventually, her programs would reach other parts of Equestria, such as Canterlot, where the Equestrian government would begin to notice her.Twilight, in particular, became intrigued about “compscitwilight” due to her name and her interest in computers. Twilight thought that computers were awesome for what they did, and so she tried to reach out to Sweet Binary for work on the Equestrian computers.Princess Twilight reached out to Sweet Binary through the internet, and she agreed to the job. Sweet Binary moved to Canterlot, where she’d take a full-time position as a computer scientist and engineer for the Equestrian government.
